Louisiana Farm Bureau’s Rapid Response to Easter Sunday Storms

April 13, 2020, should have been a day of rejoicing and renewal. Instead, Louisiana and neighboring states were devastated on Easter Sunday by record-breaking, tornado-producing storms.

Home Team On The Ground

At least one tornado carved its way through northern Louisiana, leaving devastation in its wake. Farm Bureau agents began mobilizing emergency response services immediately, coordinating across multiple parishes and reaching out to those in the hardest hit areas to begin assessing damage.

Our team set up mobile claim centers locally and began inspecting both residential and commercial properties to secure our customers’ investments. Quickly processing claims during events like these is critical.

We want to share our gratitude for health providers, law enforcement officials, first responders, utility companies and other essential groups. Agents remain on-call to dispatch adjusters into communities and address customer needs. And our mobile claim centers allow for faster processing and expedited benefit distribution.

It’s critical that our customers get their claims processed quickly in times like these.

While our recovery time is unknown, Louisiana Farm Bureau Insurance will be here every step of the way during the rebuilding process. Customers can access their online account or file a claim online. While we all practice social distancing, our MOBILE agent App is a great way to get in touch.
